It is testing out its Crispy Chicken Sandwich within the two Southern states starting Monday by means of Jan. 26, a McDonald’s spokeswoman advised FOX Enterprise.

The Crispy Chicken Sandwich features a fried chicken patty served on a candy, buttery potato rolls and topped with butter and crinkle-lower pickles, and a Deluxe Crispy Chicken Sandwich version will feature lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo.

The Crispy Chicken Sandwich is McDonald’s newest tried at infiltrating the fried chicken sandwich market. It rolled out its Ultimate Chicken Sandwich at greater than 100 places throughout Washington state in 2018. Now, it’s competing with the likes of Popeyes and Chick-fil-A.
